Beginning in March 2015, Environment and Climate Change Canada inspected a number of gas stations located on First Nations lands in the Thompson-Nicola Area of British Columbia. The inspections showed that Scamp Transport had been delivering fuel to a number of unregistered tank systems and a number of tank systems that did not display Environment Canada identification numbers. Search warrant evidence determined that Scamp Transport was supplying fuel to four gas stations on First Nations Lands in violation of the Regulations after receiving a warning letter in 2012 for the same violations. |
